On our first day ashore after 25 days at sea, the immigration officer told us that there was a festival in the town of Santa Cruz das Flores the next night and there would be free fish, bread, and wine. All we had to do was figure out how to get there.

So we got together with Saeta and rented a car. The fish were big sardines and were excellent, and the wine really was free. There were even dancing girls (and boys). As we were leaving, our hosts asked us to take their pictures.
