Bahías de Huatulco (December 2007–January 2008)
We entered Marina Chahué at the Bahías de Huatulco ahead of a Tehuantepec storm and stayed until the next window 10 days later. It was a great place to celebrate the new year along with the other cruisers on the dock. The town of Las Crucecitas was charming.
It was also safe so that we could leave the boat for our trip to Oaxaca, our only inland excursion in Mexico. Mark on Con Te Partiro kindly watched Märzen for us.
