Although we didn't stay in Puerto Vallarta, we took the bus into the city one day and walked the whole length of the malecon. The public art was incredible. We wish we knew the stories behind some of the sculptures.

We did the tourist things here: drinks at a beach cantina, shopping, tequila tasting, sight-seeing. Our real home in Banderas Bay was at La Cruz, where the new marina was open although still definitely under construction.
