Bahía Tenacatita (December 2007)
At Tenacatita we took the dinghy up a tidal estuary. We had to walk the dinghy over the sandbar at the mouth, but the payoff was a winding channel through the mangroves filled with birds, crabs, and other wildlife. We even saw a baby crocodile. At the end is a collection of palapas (beach restaurants).
This was one of the few times Märzen got to go along with us. She loved all the smells.
