Thurston Bay lagoon (July 2007)

Hurricane Jack told us about this lagoon off of Thurston Bay. As soon as he described it, we thought we'd finally catch some Dungeness — and we did.

The entrance is quite shallow — only two feet at low tide — so anchoring here is a commitment. It paid off though with peace and quiet and Dungeness crab for dinner.
