Bahía Careyes (December 2007)
In 1986 we honeymooned at the Club Med at Playa Blanca. In our cruising guide we discovered that Playa Blanca is one of three small coves within Bahía Careyes. Of course, we anchored there for the night. The Club Med is long gone and the other houses are new since then.
The snorkeling wasn't as good as we remembered (different time of the year), but it was a very pretty, albeit rolly, anchorage.
