Juan de Fuca to San Diego (August-October 2007)
From August to October we traveled more than 1,150 miles, from 48° to 34° North, and 124° to 119° West. Summer stayed with us the whole way, but it was a colder summer in August off the Washington coast than in October in San Diego.
We saw many spectacular sights at sea and ashore: sunsets, sunrises, whales, dolphins, light houses, power plants, a rocket launch, a college football game, the San Diego fires. These are photos of only a few.
