The Fraser River current fought us on our way to the haulout at Sceptre Marine at the Shelter Island Marina in Richmond, but we made it, and it was worth it. The weather cooperated — no rain the whole time we were out of the water.

Neither painting the bottom nor life on the hard are fun, but it was good that our first time was under the supervision of Jeff and his professionals at Sceptre Marine. Next time we'll be on our own in Fort Lauderdale.
