Dubrovnik, Croatia (July 2010)
From our anchorage in the river we took the bus into the old city of Dubrovnik. The trip was hot and very crowded, but it was worth it.
From the city walls we had great views of the city and sea. Dubrovnik is a beautiful city, but we recommend a visit in the off season. Summers here are hot! After visiting a few museums and churches and having lunch at a little place called Lady Pipi, we escaped back to the boat and the cooler air, promising ourselves that we would visit again before we left the country.
The night before we left Croatia, we went into the city for dinner at a Bosnian restaurant called Taj Mahal. Dinner was great, and the city was beautiful at night&emdash;and cooler.
