Iž, Croatia (July 2010)
At Iž we met our friend Boris and his children, who were visiting friends there. For us the best part was visiting with a Croatian family and learning something about their lives.
After thunderstorms the weather cleared so that we could go to a barbecue on shore. We enjoyed delicious food, spectacular views (including a double rainbow), and live guitar music by Boris and friends. It was a lovely evening that we will always remember, and we are grateful to the Slamnig/Novković family for their hospitality.
