The marina at Leixões is on the edge of the commercial dock area for Porto, about a half hour bus ride from the center of Porto. We stopped there in order to be close to Porto, but we had a great time at the marina too. It's one of the friendliest marinas we've ever visited. Both the other cruisers and the locals were friendly. Being in a non-tourist area gave us a taste of the real life of Portugal. What great people!
