The river Le Jaudy to Trégier is very pretty. Its rocky entrance is the only one we negotiated in Brittany, and it is well-marked, keeping excitement to a minimum. The tidal range is huge—almost nine meters—so the current can be fierce. Plan to arrival and depart around slack.
They grow artichokes here, and the aquaculture is primarily mussels. About three hours from Paris by fast train, this is a remote corner of France.
