Rendsburg, Germany (May 2009)
Alternately Danish and German until the 19th century, Rendsburg was first mentioned in 1199. We went into the Lutheran Marienkirche (St. Mary's Church) begun in 1286. It has one of those beautifully carved altars associated with old Catholic cathedrals.
