Seville, Spain (October 2009)
We only had a few hours in Seville between returning the rental car and catching the last bus back to Rota. The choice was to see as much as possible or to concentrate on one thing. There's too much to see in Seville in one afternoon, so we decided to spend our time visiting the alcazar, one of the finest in Spain.
The alcazar is a Moorish palace that was taken over by Spanish kings. Many Spanish cities have an alcazar, especially in the south. We were impressed with how beautiful and peaceful it was, even on a stormy day.
