Cruise with the van Gerwens (September 2008)
On a sunny day in late September, the van Gerwen family (Jan, Ria and Anouk) took us for a cruise on their boat, De Walrus. We started in the Westeinderplassen (west end lakes) and then entered the Ringvaart, a canal that is part of the standing mast route through Holland. It was a beautiful cruise with excellent hosts, and we'll always remember it fondly.
