Whale Processing Museum, Pico, Azores (July 2008)
We love whales, and it's difficult to imagine hunting and processing such incredible creatures. This museum, which was created from an old whale processing factory, made it all seem more real. Did you know that they used to make flour from whales? It was news to us. What part of the whale and what did they make from the flour, we wondered. Due to the language barrier, we didn't get an answer.
