Sightseeing in Rome, Italy (June 2010)
We stayed a week at the marina in Ostia so that we could do the tourist thing in Rome. It was truly awesome! We took tours of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill, visited Ostia Antica, the National Museum, and the Vatican Museum. Those sights have their own photo pages. Just click the links.
This page is some of the rest of what we saw. We tried to see everything: Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, St. Peter's Square, the Vittoriano, the Tiber River, and the Pantheon were on the list, as was gelato at Gelateria San Crispino, a dinner out, and pizza. And we saw lots of things that we can't name while we enjoyed watching the people and wandering around.
