Belfort is the medieval bell tower of the former city treasury of Bruges, and climbing it is a must for able-bodied tourists. The line was too long our first day in Bruges, so when we returned, we made scaling the 366 narrow and steep steps of the 88-meter tower our first priority. The views were definitely worth it.
